Unum Shares Its Story of Social Responsibility on New Site

Corporate Responsibility Report highlights company’s focus on social good, sound governance and creating a world-class workplace

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., June 27, 2019 – A new Corporate Responsibility website from Unum (NYSE: UNM) highlights the commitment of the company and its employees in the U.S., U.K., Ireland and Poland to making a difference in people’s lives, from customers and employees to the communities it calls home.

The report features Unum’s focus on social responsibility and support of initiatives that improve public education, promote health and wellness, and provide arts and cultural opportunities. In 2018, Unum and its employees made more than $13.2 million in contributions and volunteered more than 67,000 hours to charitable organizations.
