Small Business of the Year Nominations Are Now Open!

Dear Neighbor:

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and we invite you to help us honor local business owners for their contributions to our community.

Please nominate an outstanding business in Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine or Laguna Woods, by filling out this short entry form.

California’s approximately 3.4 million small businesses are critical to the state’s economy. Businesses with fewer than 100 employees actually comprise of 97% of all businesses in California, and they are responsible for employing more than 37% of all in-state workers. We want to show our appreciation for what they do today, and every day!

Honorees will be entered to win the 74th Assembly District “Small Business of the Year” award, and recognized on Small Business Day 2020 at the State Capitol in Sacramento.

Nominations are due March 20th, 2020:

Every day I’m fighting to make government work better for Californians. I’m proud that my very first bill signed into law reduces taxes for our local businesses.

As always, if you ever need me, my office is only a phone call or email away.

Yours faithfully,
