Rep. Cisneros Calls for Nominations of Outstanding AAPI Community Members in Honor of APA Heritage Month

FULLERTON, CA – Congressman Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) welcomes members of the 39th District to nominate outstanding Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) individuals for a trailblazer award in honor of APA Heritage Month. This community leader can be involved in any field of service, including education, healthcare, public service/non-profit, and small businesses, as well as high school students. The office is accepting nominees until Friday, May 22nd, 2020, and the form can be found here. The nominee must live in the 39th District.

 

“During the month of May we are recognizing and honoring outstanding leaders and students from our AAPI community in the 39th District,” said Rep. Cisneros. “In Southern California, the AAPI community continues to make significant contributions to our diverse cultural heritage and enriches our region’s history. My district is home to one of our country’s largest AAPI communities and I look forward to honoring our community leaders during APA Heritage Month.”
