President Trump is in quarantine after aide Hope Hicks tests positive for Covid19

Hope Hicks, one of President Donald Trump’s closest aides, has tested positive for the coronavirus, The Associated Press reported Thursday. Trump later said that he and first lady Melania Trump have been tested and will quarantine while they await the results.

Hicks, 31, who serves as counselor to the president and traveled with him on Air Force One to a rally in Minnesota on Wednesday, tested positive Thursday, according to an administration official, who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity to discuss private health information. Hicks, who also traveled with the President to Cleveland for the first presidential debate, is the closest aide to Trump to test positive so far, The Washington Post reported. Hicks was seen without a mask on the tarmac deplaning Air Force One in Cleveland, the newspaper reported.

Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!
