21st Harvard China Forum Grand Opening in Boston

The 21st Harvard China Forum kicked off on April 6th in Boston. Founded in 1997, the Harvard China Forum is North America’s leading and longest-running student-run conference in China. Dedicated to a constructive dialogue on the challenges, trends, and issues affecting China, the forum aims to engage leaders in business, academics, and politics in discourse that will offer insight and generate new ideas.

The annual Forum typically takes place at Harvard University every April. In 2017, more than 1,200 delegates and 100 speakers attended the forum, making it the largest of its kind.

Governor Charles Baker and lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito of Massachusetts, in a congratulatory letter to the forum, wrote: ” the forum has continued to strengthen the understanding between China and the rest of the world,. Each year this forum engages with leaders from all disciplines to establish a critical and productive dialogue on the issues central to the development of China  and the United States.”

This year’s forum has openings and a Finance Panel, Cultural Panel, International Relation Panel, Technology Panel, Entertainment Panel, Frustructure/Construction Panel, etc. Forum organizing committees invited speakers including top tier scholars, entrepreneurs, and bankers from China and the states.
