Diplomats Diversi-Tea Gala 10th Anniversary

Diplomats Diversi-Tea Gala 10th Anniversary “Celebrating Union Day” was held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Marina Del Rey on FantaSea Yacht.

During the Gala, Consul General Tanee Sangrat  of the Kingdom of Thailand and Robert Sichinga, the Honorary Consul and Chief of Post for the Republic of Zambia, Africa were honored.

C.A.W. Orbis Award Recipients are Mirela Sula and Gail McKenzie

This year’s Humanitarian Award recipients are Travis Payne and Ola Ray. Ola Ray is an American model and actress most notable for her role as the unnamed girlfriend of Michael Jackson in the short film Thriller. Travis Payne is an American choreographer, director, and producer. He was the choreographer for Michael Jackson’s This Is It until Jackson’s death.

In the spirit of international diversity, about 200 guests with 15 Consuls General from different countries  in Los Angeles enjoyed gourmet teas from around the world, and a food buffet.

The evening ended with a “Unity” cake cutting ceremony.
