California House Republicans, including House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Unite Behind John Cox for Governor

California – House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy today added his significant endorsement to the list of Republicans uniting around John Cox’s campaign for California Governor.

“John Cox has proven that he has what it takes to wage a vigorous challenge to the liberal Sacramento policies that threaten California’s future,” said Majority Leader McCarthy.

“John’s experience in business is a clear contrast to the Democrat candidates and their endless pursuit to punish job creators and small businesses. He also offers families an agenda that reverses the added burdens on everyday life that have been placed on them by the Democrats – primarily a gas tax that will ensure prices are the highest in the country. By electing John Cox our future for families and communities will be stronger,” McCarthy said.

Cox has consistently run second only to Democrat Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom in numerous polls over the past six weeks.

McCarthy was joined in this major endorsement announcement by fellow California Members of Congress Devin Nunes and Ken Calvert.

Majority Leader McCarthy’s endorsement adds to John Cox’s growing momentum and joins notable endorsers including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC, Representatives Jeff Denham, Doug LaMalfa, and Mimi Walters.
