460 Internet platform products launched in Shandong to help enterprises resume production

Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak, some enterprises are facing difficulties resuming production.

East China’s Shandong province is providing help through the promotion of digital transformation. To date, a total of 460 Internet platform products are available, offering services in epidemic prevention and control, office collaboration, production and other fields.

According to local authorities, the Internet products can be used for epidemic monitoring, emergency information release, intelligent diagnosis and treatment and other epidemic prevention and control work. They also include services in traffic information, office automation, enterprise monitoring management and Internet donation.

Inspur Group, a leading domestic company based in Jinan, Shandong province which provides big data services, has launched an app providing free online epidemic reporting services for governments, hospitals, schools, communities and enterprises.

The app also provides data support in personnel deployment and movement tracking, epidemic situation analysis and judgment, emergency resource scheduling and more.

In addition, JD Cloud, the cloud unit of Chinese e-commerce giant JD, has rolled out a public reporting system for potential outbreaks. The system allows the public to report potential epidemic hazards and supply shortages whenever and wherever possible. It assists decision-making departments in dealing with the crisis and responding to public needs in a timely manner.

Massclouds, a Shandong-based high-tech company, has launched a desktop virtualization system enabling employees to telecommunicate.

According to Massclouds, the system also allows employees to connect to the cloud from home and grants them access to high-performance virtual computers.

The smart manufacturing platform COSMOPlat, launched by Haier Group, China’s largest home appliance manufacturer, based in Qingdao, Shandong province, enables companies to customize products at speed and scale while boosting productivity and cutting costs.

According to the Shandong Provincial Big Data Bureau, big data bureaus at all levels in Shandong have published product lists to the public, and all units can contact the person in charge of each product when needed.
