If you\u2019re going to have any hopes of maintaining your Twins-fan spirit in the noon sun, staying hydrated is a must.<\/p>\n<p>Just in time for National Drinking Water Week May 5 \u2013 11, we\u2019re excited to unveil our new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pentair.com\/en\/landing-pages\/twins.html?utm_source=3BL_Media&amp;utm_medium=FMR&amp;utm_campaign=Twins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pentair Water Filtration Stations<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0at Target Field.\u00a0 Now baseball fans can bring their own reusable water bottles to fill up and stay hydrated, while also helping reduce plastic bottle waste at the stadium\u2014considered the \u201cGreenest Ballpark in America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check in and win<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These aren\u2019t your average water fountains. But that\u2019s only one piece of our partnership with our hometown team.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2009 we have collaborated with the Twins to help make Target Field the first LEED-certified professional sports venue in North America. Meeting the high LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards meant reducing their reliance on municipal water.<\/p>\n<p>We collaborated with the team on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pentair.com\/en\/knowledge-base\/rain-water-reuse.html?utm_source=3BL_Media&amp;utm_medium=FMR&amp;utm_campaign=RWRS_Twins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Target Field\u2019s Rain Water Recycle System<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(RWRS), which captures, conserves, and reuses rain water to keep the playing field green and the stadium seats clean. Pentair\u2019s RWRS has been a tremendous success, cutting the ballpark\u2019s municipal water usage in half and contributing to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/twins\/fans\/infographics\/go-twins-go-green\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Target Field achieving LEED Gold recertification<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for Existing Building: Operations &amp; Maintenance in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Starting this year, Pentair\u2019s RWRS also irrigates Target Field\u2019s new \u201cliving wall\u201d in center field. The living wall is 2,280 square feet and filled with 5,700 sea-green juniper plants.
