SILVER SPRING, Md., November 5, 2019 – USC Shoah Foundation\u2014The Institute for Visual History and Education (USC Shoah Foundation<\/a>) and\u00a0Discovery Education<\/a>, the global leader in standards-aligned digital curriculum resources, engaging content, and professional learning for K-12 classrooms, invite students in grades 5-12 to take part in a powerful virtual experience this afternoon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Based on the idea that everyone has a story to tell \u2013 from filmmakers, to survivors of genocide, to artists, to middle and high school students \u2013 \u2018Our Stories are Stronger Than Hate\u2019 gives students tools to counter bullying, prejudice,\u00a0and the growing hate in our schools by listening to stories\u00a0and testimonies that\u00a0build empathy, understanding, and human connections.
