California’s\u00a0positivity rate<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0a key indicator of community spread\u00a0\u2013\u00a0remains stable in the 14-day average. Hospitalization rates remain stable over the long-term while showing a slight uptick in the 14-day average.\u00a0California has\u00a0165,416\u00a0confirmed cases to date. Numbers may not represent true day-over-day change as reporting of test results can be delayed.\u00a0There have been\u00a03,155,702\u00a0tests\u00a0conducted in California. As testing capacity continues to increase across the state, an increase in the number of positive cases has been\u00a0expected \u2013 increasing the importance of positivity rates to find signs of community spread. There have been\u00a05,360\u00a0COVID-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
