Huawei is currently in the middle of a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/zffdvgzjfrrkcgcrkbsffkddfzkqrzrttlfjgwqrzbdbfd_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/zffdvgzjfrrkcgcrkbsffkddfzkqrzrttlfjgwqrzbdbfd_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1606355302549000&amp;usg=AOvVaw03FiP8K4GtXC18eRKYcqxO\">legal battle<\/a>\u00a0disputing the designation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith today\u2019s order, we are taking another important step in our ongoing efforts to protect U.S. communications networks from security risks,\u201d FCC Chairman\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/zfddvgzjfrrkcgcrkbsffkddfzkqrzrttlfjgwqrzbdbff_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/zfddvgzjfrrkcgcrkbsffkddfzkqrzrttlfjgwqrzbdbff_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1606355302550000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0FwoFQvBGk4awgjJX5_JFw\">Ajit Pai<\/a>\u00a0said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Pai noted that the agency will vote next month on rules to implement a reimbursement program created by legislation\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/lkjqsfzphmmrlflmrdjhhrqqhzrcmzmyynhpfwcmzdqjzz_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/lkjqsfzphmmrlflmrdjhhrqqhzrcmzmyynhpfwcmzdqjzz_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1606355302550000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3uiUIWGuU1zB55QpLLGoyj\">signed into law<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/jrtfczshnbbwpzpbwtvnnwffnswkbsbddmnhzqkbstfvsb_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/jrtfczshnbbwpzpbwtvnnwffnswkbsbddmnhzqkbstfvsb_wdddggvlvbdsfslgjzdg.html&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1606355302550000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3xlpyphbcE7XBMMvjVdZvy\">President Trump<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year.
