Barger Seeks to Protect Victim&#8217;s Rights and Strengthen Victim Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"m_-1514252603934070417MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><b>SUPERVISOR BARGER LEADS EFFORTS TO PROTECT<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1514252603934070417MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><b>VICTIM\u2019S RIGHTS AND STRENGTHEN VICTIM SERVICES<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1514252603934070417MsoNoSpacing\"><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1514252603934070417MsoNoSpacing\">LOS ANGELES COUNTY \u2014Supervisor Kathryn Barger\u2019s motion to explore ways to protect and support the rights of crime victims was unanimously approved by the Board of Supervisors.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1514252603934070417MsoNoSpacing\"><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1514252603934070417MsoNoSpacing\">\u201cVictims of crime and their loved ones endure significant trauma and often struggle with a lifelong recovery process,\u201d said Supervisor Kathryn Barger. \u201cWe are responsible for providing the necessary trauma-informed services to help them through that painful recovery.
