{"id":32347,"date":"2021-03-03T17:33:46","date_gmt":"2021-03-04T01:33:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=32347"},"modified":"2021-03-03T17:33:46","modified_gmt":"2021-03-04T01:33:46","slug":"parler-files-a-new-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=32347","title":{"rendered":"Parler files a new case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Parler filed to dismiss its federal lawsuit against Amazon on Tuesday \u2014 the same day the platform filed a new lawsuit in Washington state court alleging defamation and breach of contract.<\/p>\n<p>The federal lawsuit was filed in January, and had sought a court order ruling that Amazon had to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/uwnmvzybchhsjzjhsgnccsmmcyskhyhddfcbzpkhhqymgq_pjlhmmjqjbhlhydhjmlv.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/uwnmvzybchhsjzjhsgnccsmmcyskhyhddfcbzpkhhqymgq_pjlhmmjqjbhlhydhjmlv.html&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1614900512466000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFQUI8EK_v5w0wtJGr0hg3O0pMm8A\">resume hosting Parler<\/a>\u00a0after Amazon Web Services (AWS) pulled the platform due to violent posts surrounding the Jan. 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol.
