{"id":34085,"date":"2021-04-15T15:50:19","date_gmt":"2021-04-15T22:50:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=34085"},"modified":"2021-04-16T15:50:44","modified_gmt":"2021-04-16T22:50:44","slug":"antitrust-blueprint-approved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=34085","title":{"rendered":"ANTITRUST BLUEPRINT APPROVED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The House Judiciary Committee late Wednesday night formally approved a report on monopoly power in digital marketplaces.<\/p>\n<p>The over 400-page document depicting ways that Alphabet, Amazon, Apple and Facebook allegedly abuse their market power was approved on a 24-17 party-line vote.<\/p>\n<p>The report was released in October by Democrats on the committee but was the result of a bipartisan investigation, and some Republicans have signaled support for antitrust initiatives drawing on the report.
