{"id":34702,"date":"2021-04-30T16:23:32","date_gmt":"2021-04-30T23:23:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=34702"},"modified":"2021-04-30T16:23:32","modified_gmt":"2021-04-30T23:23:32","slug":"apples-eu-troubles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=34702","title":{"rendered":"APPLE\u2019S EU TROUBLES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European Commission said Friday that Apple has abused its dominant position for music streaming apps through its App Store.<\/p>\n<p>The commission\u2019s statement cites app developers&#8217; mandatory use of Apple\u2019s in-app purchase system that charges developers up to 30 percent commission fees on all subscriptions bought through the app, as well as Apple\u2019s \u201canti-steering provisions\u201d which limit app developers from informing users of alternative purchasing possibilities outside of apps.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can now do our shopping, access news, music or movies via apps instead of visiting websites.
