{"id":34948,"date":"2021-05-08T14:37:59","date_gmt":"2021-05-08T21:37:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=34948"},"modified":"2021-05-09T14:38:22","modified_gmt":"2021-05-09T21:38:22","slug":"cdph-celebrates-mothers-day-with-spanish-language-outreach-urging-latinos-to-continue-getting-vaccinated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=34948","title":{"rendered":"CDPH Celebrates Mother\u2019s Day with Spanish-Language Outreach Urging Latinos to Continue Getting Vaccinated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SACRAMENTO<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is urging families to continue getting vaccinated through the \u201cLet\u2019s Get to ImmUnity\u201d campaign, in honor of Mother\u2019s Day on Sunday, May 9 and Mexican Mother\u2019s Day on Monday, May 10.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CDPH will be reaching over 550,000 Latinos in the Los Angeles area through advertising on four high traffic billboards off the 710 freeway and Firestone Blvd in South Gate. Additionally, paid social media posts will be elevated statewide, along with organic social media posts featuring video testimonials and dialogues between mothers and their children, in hopes to\u00a0inspire positive actions towards scheduling an appointment to receive the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAs families across the state celebrate our mothers and mother-figures, we also want to take the time to remind people that getting vaccinated is the best way to ensure we can safely gather,\u201d said Dr. Tom\u00e1s J.
