The study will also follow a specific dosing regimen for certain age groups.<\/p>\n<p>The companies plan to give children between the ages of 5 and 11 a dose of 10 micrograms and children and infants ages 6 months to 5 years a dose of 3 micrograms, the news outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Pfizer and BioNTech found their COVID-19 vaccine to be\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/dcsszlgkjttfblbtfrcjjfssjgfwtgtnnmjkldwtpgghhm_bpfpggflfypqlfpzpbdq.html?a=&amp;b=39718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/click1.email.thehill.com\/dcsszlgkjttfblbtfrcjjfssjgfwtgtnnmjkldwtpgghhm_bpfpggflfypqlfpzpbdq.html?a%3D%26b%3D39718&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1623290235967000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGxfG6nn5q-e9COiJn70yEkG_x8mg\">100 percent effective in children ages 12 to 15<\/a>.
