\n<\/strong>Los Angeles, CA (July 1, 2021)\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014\u00a0The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHM) has announced extended summer hours from 5 pm to 8 pm every Friday, beginning July 9 through August 6.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Visitors can enjoy an evening with live DJs in the Nature Gardens, DIY activities for the family, and food and beverages at the NHM Grill. The ground and first floors of the Museum will remain open, including the Butterfly Pavilion, Nature Lab, Dinosaur Hall, 3D theater, and iconic diorama halls. NHM’s two newest exhibitions,\u00a0Spiky, Hairy, Shiny: Insects of L.A.<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Rise Up L.A.: A History of Votes for Women\u00a0<\/em>are on view in first floor galleries.<\/p>\n

Advanced timed-ticket reservations are no longer required, and walk-ups are welcome.
