Arag\u00f3n, issued a joint statement on the CDC\u2019s recommendation to authorize Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine boosters for fully vaccinated adults:\u00a0<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;California\u00a0led the nation in empowering our\u00a0communities to stay safe and keep their protection against COVID-19 strong during the winter months. The CDC\u2019s recommendation on Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 boosters affirms the state\u2019s\u00a0approach. All Californians ages 18 and older who received their second dose\u00a0of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine six months ago or the J&amp;J vaccine two months ago can get the booster of their choice.
