{"id":42556,"date":"2021-11-24T21:04:48","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T05:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=42556"},"modified":"2021-11-24T21:04:48","modified_gmt":"2021-11-25T05:04:48","slug":"social-media-linked-to-depression-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lapost.us\/?p=42556","title":{"rendered":"SOCIAL MEDIA LINKED TO DEPRESSION, AGAIN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new study has linked social media use with symptoms of depression among older adults, joining other research showing increased mental health issues among younger adults and adolescents using social media.<\/p>\n<p>The study, published on Tuesday in the journal JAMA Network Open, surveyed 5,395 adults with a mean age of 56 between May 2020 and May 2021.
