Congressmember Chu and Assemblymember Mike Eng (ret.) reaffirmed support for Mike Fong for State Assembly and highlighted the importance of voting in the February 15, 2022 Special Election\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

ALHAMBRA, CA, January 22, 2022<\/u>\u00a0<\/b>\u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Congressmember Judy Chu, State Assemblymember Mike Eng (ret.), and State Assembly Candidate Mike Fong held a press conference today at the Mike Fong for Assembly campaign office in Monterey Park to encourage Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) voters in Assembly District 49 (AD 49) to vote by mail as soon as possible in the February 15, 2022 Special Election.\u00a0\u00a0Mike Fong is the Democratic Party\u2019s official candidate running against a Republican in the winner-take-all election.<\/p>\n

They highlighted the importance of voting for the AAPI community and provided step-by-step instructions on how to cast and return a vote-by-mail ballot.\u00a0\u00a0The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder\/County Clerk has sent vote-by-mail ballots to all voters in the Assembly District.\u00a0\u00a0Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked by Election Day.<\/p>\n
