Disneyland Resort Celebrates the Year of the Tiger with the Return of Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park, Jan. 21 to Feb. 13, 2022<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Anaheim, CA, January 19, 2022 –\u00a0Disney\u2019s Lunar New Year celebration event kicked off on Friday, Jan. 21 and runs through Feb. 13 at Disney California Adventure for the first time since the park’s pandemic closure.<\/p>\n

This limited-time event \u2013 Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park ushers in a joyous tribute to Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean cultures and traditions with a touch of Disney magic, featuring Asian-inspired food and drinks, vibrant d\u00e9cor, and Disney characters dressed in festive attire, keepsake merchandise and exciting live entertainment!<\/p>\n

This year, Tigger from Disney’s Winnie the Pooh will help ring in the Year of the Tiger, along with Mulan, Mushu, Minnie, Mickey and more.<\/p>\n

This year, \u201cMulan\u2019s Lunar New Year Procession\u201d introduces a gorgeous new float that Mulan and Mushu arrive upon, accompanied by traditional Chinese drummers with powerful rhythms and performers bringing cultural artistry and dance to life. Decorated in red and gold to symbolize good fortune and happiness, the float features bright bunches of red firecrackers with golden tassels, and delicate red and gold lanterns that come aglow for after-sunset performances.<\/p>\n
