The Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) has launched its August \u201cEssential Services Month\u201d campaign to inform all County residents about its benefit programs and encourage anyone in need to apply.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe offer several ways to apply for benefits. You can go online to the BenefitsCal enrollment site at\u00a0https:\/\/dpss.lacounty.gov\/<\/a>, or call our Customer Service Center at 866-613-3177.\u00a0 You can also visit our offices to get assistance,\u201d says DPSS Acting Director Jackie Contreras.<\/p>\n Essential Services Month will showcase the Department\u2019s award-winning \u201cWhat is?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0video series to explain each program and how to apply.
