Lie Number One<\/strong>: Malia’s not debating because “there hasn’t been a strong one really organized.”<\/p>\n

Fact:\u00a0<\/strong>Several credible media organizations throughout California have invited Malia Cohen to debate, including\u00a0KCRA<\/a>, the NBC affiliate in Sacramento.<\/p>\n

Lie Number Two:\u00a0<\/strong>Malia called Lanhee Chen a “Trump Republican.”<\/p>\n

Fact:\u00a0<\/strong>Lanhee Chen\u00a0didn’t vote<\/a>\u00a0for Donald Trump in 2016 or 2020, and has said he would not support him if he runs for president in 2024.\u00a0Earlier in the same CBS interview<\/em>, Lanhee criticized Trump directly: “I’ve expressed concerns about, for example, what the former president did, his governing style,” said Chen. “What happened on January 6th, I’ve argued, is an abomination. I don’t think the election was stolen.”<\/p>\n

Lie Number Three:\u00a0<\/strong>Malia said Lanhee Chen “isn’t pro-choice.”<\/p>\n

Fact:\u00a0<\/strong>Lanhee Chen is\u00a0pro-choice<\/a>\u00a0and has repeatedly voiced support for reproductive freedoms in California.<\/p>\n

Lie Number Four:\u00a0<\/strong>Malia bizarrely implied that Lanhee Chen is funding his own campaign.<\/p>\n
