But when he comes face to face with the immigrants he seeks to kill, the story takes a shocking twist toward compassion, grace, and forgiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facing History is the film\u2019s education partner and is sharing \u201cStranger at the Gate\u201d with high school educators and students across the globe. The organization has a network of more than 400,000 educators who use lessons of history to challenge teachers and their students to stand up to bigotry and hate by inspiring them to discover their own voice and agency so that they can choose to play an active and positive role in their peer groups, schools, communities, and the larger world. Facing History created a conversation guide to extend students\u2019 and other viewers\u2019 reflection on the film&#8217;s themes and to help build community through dialogue.
