Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang is set to host the next\u00a0in-person\u00a0Resource Fair in Temple City where residents will get the latest information on vital County services such as property tax savings for those\u00a0with damages from the latest slate of torrential rain\u00a0storms, among numerous other services.<\/p>\n

The fair is free and open to the public at the Live Oak Park Community Center this Saturday, March 4. The Resource Fair is designed to connect homeowners with various services available to them,\u00a0with perhaps the most timely being a tax savings program for those property owners experiencing damage from the\u00a0rainstorms.\u00a0\u00a0Also, they will discover how\u00a0to build Accessory Dwelling Units, or ADUs \u2013 the small granny flats you find behind homes, to name just a couple of the\u00a0 County services offered.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese<\/em>\u00a0in-person Resource Fairs are attracting hundreds of visitors eager to learn about the vital County Services available to them and we are anticipating a good-sized crowd,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Assessor Jeff Prang said<\/strong>.\u00a0\u201c Although this is only our first Fair this year, they are growing in popularity from the two we did in 2022 and we expect tomorrow to be a busy day.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The two\u00a0in-person Resource Fairs last year\u00a0attracted\u00a0hundreds of people from the\u00a0community and throughout the County along with dozens of elected officials. It was a resounding success, the organizers said.<\/p>\n
