[Photo\/WeChat account: yantaifabu]<\/p>\n<p>Yantai in East China&#8217;s Shandong province will beef up efforts to promote the high-quality development of its wine industry chain this year.<\/p>\n<p>This year is\u00a0an important year for Yantai to\u00a0march toward the goal of achieving a GDP\u00a0of more than\u00a01 trillion yuan ($144.97 billion)\u00a0mark, with the city focusing on\u00a0the development of its local industries to achieve its target. Yantai will grasp the favorable opportunities brought by the supply-side structural reform and expanding domestic consumption, aiming to build it into a world famous wine producing region and a famous wine culture city at home and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>According to local authorities, the city will release a slew of supportive measures to promote the healthy development of the wine industry. Ten demonstration parks and high-standard planting bases for grapes will be built in the city.<\/p>\n<p>More efforts will be made to strengthen brand\u00a0building\u00a0and support competitive enterprises as they expand to overseas markets. The city will also actively take part in various international wine festivals and expos to deepen international exchanges for wine enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>Yantai will promote the construction of three key areas for wine production.
