We are almost there because the grand opening of\u00a0Tiana\u2019s Palace<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>over at\u00a0Disneyland<\/a>\u00a0park<\/strong>\u00a0is coming soon. On Sept. 7, the doors to this new establishment will be opening to feed hungry guests a little taste of New Orleans inspired by Tiana herself, and I\u2019ve got the full menu for you.<\/p>\n

Nestled on Orleans Street, this soon-to-be hotspot will be serving up can\u2019t-miss classics like gumbo and beignets, but with a tasty twist you can only get at this quick-service location. You can even use mobile order to get all the new bites on the way.<\/p>\n

With flavors and ingredients coming right out of New Orleans, this new spot is going to be the place to be on your next visit to Disneyland Resort.<\/p>\n

So, should we dig a little deeper and find out what our taste buds need on the Tiana\u2019s Palace menu? I think so!<\/p>\n

If you love gumbo, you\u2019re in for a treat because this spot will feature a couple different options for you to try. The\u00a07 Greens Gumbo<\/strong>\u00a0is a must-try plant-based option. It features white beans, okra, yams, sweet potatoes, and heirloom rice. You can also feast upon the\u00a07 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage\u00a0<\/strong>if you\u2019re wanting something a little extra. And of course, we\u2019ve got the\u00a0House Gumbo<\/strong>. This dish is a New Orleans staple combining braised chicken, andouille sausage, and heirloom rice into a mouthwatering delight that\u2019ll leave you coming back for more.<\/p>\n

For those wanting a little extra spice from down in New Orleans, the\u00a0Cajun Spice Half Chicken<\/strong>\u00a0is the dish for you. The chicken is brushed with a house-made chicory BBQ sauce and served with baked macaroni and cheese & coleslaw. What a combo!<\/p>\n

Are handhelds your meal of choice? Tiana\u2019s got you covered too \u2013 don\u2019t you worry. The\u00a0Muffuletta Sandwich<\/strong>\u00a0stacks mortadella, salami, rosemary ham, cheddar, provolone and house-made olive relish on toasted New Orleans sesame seed bread. Another staple, the\u00a0Beef Po-boy Sandwich<\/strong>\u00a0features some slow-cooked beef perfectly coated with gravy and fully dressed with shredded lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise atop toasted New Orleans French bread. Both tasty bites are served alongside red beans and rice and house-made pickles.<\/p>\n

Do you love shrimp? Do you love grits? What about shrimp and grits? Well, it\u2019s your lucky day because Tiana is also serving up the\u00a0Gulf Shrimp and Grits<\/strong>\u00a0for you. Grilled to perfection and tossed in a Creole sauce, the shrimp are then paired with cheesy grits to form a classic dish that will transport you down the bayou with each bite.<\/p>\n

If you want a little something extra to add to your meal, the chefs have put together a lovely array of classic sides, like the\u00a0Buttermilk Cornbread<\/strong>,\u00a0Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Red Beans & Heirloom Rice<\/strong>,\u00a0Coleslaw, Cheesy Grits<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>and plant-based\u00a0Heirloom Rice.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the little ones, there are also some kid meals they\u2019ll love. The\u00a0Roasted Chicken Drumstick<\/strong>\u00a0is served with a sweet BBQ sauce and heirloom rice, while the\u00a0Toasted Ham & Cheese Sandwich\u00a0<\/strong>is topped with savory ham and provolone. Also, a classic\u00a0Baked Macaroni and Cheese<\/strong>\u00a0is on the menu for the kids too! All three of these are accompanied by a Cuties Mandarin Orange and applesauce with choice of DASANI Water or small low-fat milk.<\/p>\n

Now onto the star of the show \u2026 No restaurant inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios\u2019 \u201cThe Princess and the Frog\u201d could be complete without beignets, and at Tiana\u2019s Palace, dessert is always first. But these delights aren\u2019t your average beignets \u2013 oh, no. The\u00a0House-filled Beignet\u00a0<\/strong>features a delicious lemon icebox pie filling topped with lemon glaze for the perfect bite.<\/p>\n

A specialty sip is also on the menu. The\u00a0Joffrey\u2019s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew\u00a0<\/strong>topped with sweet cream is a must for those coffee lovers out there. The\u00a0Ray Firefly Glow Cube<\/strong>* is also available with the purchase of a beverage. This adorable addition will light up your drink just like Evangeline lights up the night sky.<\/p>\n

Last but certainly not least, if you want to take home a piece of Tiana\u2019s Palace with you, the\u00a0Lily Pad and Lotus Cup Ceramic Set<\/strong>** is for you. And it even comes with a\u00a0House-filled Beignet<\/strong>\u00a0for you to sink your teeth into.<\/p>\n

Wow \u2013 what a tasty lineup the chefs have created! I can\u2019t wait to get a taste of New Orleans right in Disneyland park. With exciting new openings like Tiana\u2019s Palace, there\u2019s no limit to the foodie fun to be had at Disney Parks.<\/p>\n
