It\u2019s an exciting time at the Disneyland Resort, and we\u2019re here to give you the latest reveals on what\u2019s next for\u00a0Downtown Disney District<\/a>! Through this innovative evolution, we are continually looking to bring you new experiences and even more ways to make memories with a dose of Disney magic.<\/p>\n

First Look at Parkside Market!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Here\u2019s a first look at renderings for the new\u00a0Parkside Market<\/strong>, a curated collection of four diverse culinary concepts from Levy Restaurants, all under one roof, as part of the expansion of the district on the west end. As we\u00a0recently shared<\/a>, Parkside Market will bring\u00a0Seoul Sister<\/strong>, a fast-casual modern eatery that will serve a Korean-forward menu based on\u00a0bibimbap<\/em>\u00a0(Korean rice bowls);\u00a0Sip & Sonder<\/strong>\u00a0serving lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks and Caribbean-inspired bites;\u00a0GG\u2019s Chicken Shop<\/strong>\u00a0with chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides; and a\u00a0second story bar<\/strong>\u00a0with great views of the district to sip signature craft cocktails and mocktails paired with tantalizing appetizers.<\/p>\n

Earl of Sandwich News!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Earl of Sandwich<\/strong>\u00a0fans, great news! Plans are in the works for an all-new, two-story location in Downtown Disney District, with a quick-service Earl of Sandwich shop on the ground level and a table-service gastropub upstairs. We can\u2019t wait to share more details about this project in the future.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, keep an eye out for a temporary Earl of Sandwich pop-up opening soon near\u00a0Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0Trading Post. Here, you will be able to pick up sandwiches such as The Original 1762, The Full Montagu or my personal must-have, the Holiday Turkey, as well as hand-crafted wraps, salads and sweets.<\/p>\n

As we\u00a0previously shared<\/a>, Earl of Sandwich will be relocated\u00a0from its temporary location on the east end of the district near the Esplanade to make way for the design and construction of an all-new Porto\u2019s Bakery.<\/p>\n

Sneak Peek at Paseo and C\u00e9ntrico, and Announcing Tiendita!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Next, let\u2019s take a sneak peek at what\u2019s coming to the center of the district later this spring \u2013 the new\u00a0Paseo\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0C\u00e9ntrico\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 and announcing,\u00a0Tiendita<\/strong>! With menus created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gayt\u00e1n, the Paseo upstairs dining room and the first floor C\u00e9ntrico courtyard bar and restaurant will offer upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails, while next door, Tiendita will offer Chef Gayt\u00e1n\u2019s Mexican heritage flavors on-the-go, with quick-service Mexican street-food staples.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been talking about what\u2019s to come, and of course, there is so much to enjoy now! One of my favorite new spots to relax and listen to music is at the\u00a0Downtown Disney LIVE!\u00a0<\/strong>stage and lawn. You can dance and sing along to various genres of music including Motown, rock, jazz, pop and reggae. Be sure to check the\u00a0entertainment schedule<\/a>\u00a0for seasonal and specialty performances throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s distinctive dining, shopping or entertainment, Downtown Disney District is a destination all its own to have a great time with your family and friends. Currently, there are dozens of restaurants, snack stops, boutiques and entertainment venues for you to visit including Splitsville Luxury Lanes, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, Ballast Point Brewing Co., Naples Ristorante e Bar, Wetzel\u2019s Pretzel, PANDORA Jewelry, Lovepop, California Sole and World of Disney!<\/p>\n
