This year\u2019s program comprises of six cohorts that will meet monthly or biweekly<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

LOS ANGELES \u2013 (January 25, 2024)<\/strong> – Arts for LA<\/strong>, the leading voice for arts advocacy in Greater Los Angeles, in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), will cohost The DCA Evening Webinar Series for Arts Workers. The webinar series will take place from January 2024 through May 2024 and are completely free. This series is an opportunity for the local arts and cultural community to build networks through listening, learning, and exchanging insights.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWe are grateful to partner with DCA once again to bring forth a powerful networking and learning opportunity for art workers in the Greater Los Angeles Area,\u201d said Gustavo Herrera, CEO, Arts for LA. \u201cProviding free opportunities like this to artists is necessary to help create a more equitable, healthy, and vibrant Los Angeles region through the arts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

This year, the program consists of six cohorts, each meeting once a month, with five total meetings. The cohorts include Performing Arts Leaders, Entertainment Industry Writers of Color, Emerging Media Career Pathways, Outdoor Festival Producers Cohort, Art Therapists Cohort, and Leadership Cohort for Artists with Disabilities.<\/p>\n

\n

The webinars held virtually at or after 6:00 p.m. offer opportunities for attendees to ask questions, share comments or recommendations, and interact with fellow artists.\u00a0 Participants are welcome and encouraged to join multiple cohorts throughout the series, allowing for a broader range of networking and learning opportunities.\u00a0 While participants can join a cohort at any point, attending all cohort meetings will provide the most benefits.<\/p>\n
