Featuring an hour-long discussion with Albert Daniel of Albert\u2019s Petite Sweets and SueEllen Mancini, owner of Sad Girl Creamery (and moderated by NHM\u2019s Associate Director of Community Engagement and mastermind behind the\u00a0<em>Being Los Angeles\u00a0<\/em>initiative and\u00a0<em>ChocoLAte\u00a0<\/em>series, Milena Acosta), the trio will share stories of chocolate as a source of comfort and recovery and reflect on their experiences in entrepreneurship and resilience.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>With a focus on allowing guests to explore the universal ways chocolate has impacted people\u2019s lives, each guest will also receive a chocolate tasting from Sad Girl Creamery and Albert\u2019s Petite Sweets with admission. While the\u00a0<em>ChocoLAte<\/em>\u00a0video series will continue to share the stories behind these local chocolatiers and influential figures, the Talk &amp; Tasting series presents an opportunity to meet and directly connect with these experts and hear their thoughts on some of the key topics within the industry and community.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In order to continue the celebration of culture, heritage, and history of the people who call L.A. home (even beyond a shared love of chocolate), select first-floor exhibitions will be on view before and after the conversation.
