LAPost\/New York (November 13, 2024) <\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 To further support the growth of foreign trade enterprises and help Shandong companies expand into the North American market, the\u00a0\u201cHigh-Quality Shandong, Trade Worldwide\u201d 2024 Shandong Brand Products (USA) Promotion Event<\/em>\u00a0was successfully held in New York on November 8. The event was attended by over 100 participants, including representatives from the Chinese Consulate-General in New York, the New York State Senate Office, the New York State Assembly Office, the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in the United States, the Bank of China\u2019s New York Branch, the Shandong Provincial Government Representative Office in the Americas, the Chinese Business Association of North Carolina, as well as representatives from major U.S. retailers, corporate headquarters, and purchasing enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event featured three segments: guest speeches, promotional presentations, and business matchmaking meetings. Guest speakers included Wang Longhao, Consul of the Chinese Consulate-General in New York; Velousiu, Director of the New York State Senate Office; Roman, Director of the New York State Assembly Office; L\u00fc Chengrui, President of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in the United States; and Shi Wei, Representative of the Shandong Provincial Government Representative Office in the Americas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shi Wei highlighted that from January to September 2024, trade between Shandong and the United States reached RMB 239.12 billion. Currently, the United States has invested in over 1,000 projects in Shandong, while Shandong has established numerous investment projects in the U.S. He stated:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHigh-Quality Shandong, Trade Worldwide\u201d is not just a promotion event but also a new starting point for deeper integration and shared development between Shandong and the world. I firmly believe that with joint efforts, economic and trade cooperation between Shandong and the United States will open a new chapter and achieve mutual benefits.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

During the promotional presentation segment, Dr. Cheng Candong, Executive Director of the Chinese Business Association of North Carolina; Zhu Baogang, Chairman of Qingdao Tastyle Textile Co., Ltd.; and Yu Yunhong, General Manager of Zibo Fosilan Polymer Composite Technology Co., Ltd., delivered presentations to introduce their businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over 20 Shandong enterprises engaged in one-on-one matchmaking meetings with more than 30 U.S. companies, covering industries such as automotive parts, machinery, home goods, building materials, and food packaging. Many companies reached trade agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n

During their visit, the delegation also toured the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, local overseas warehouses, and industrial parks, and participated in the AAPEX Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo and the SEMA Show for modified vehicles. They conducted in-depth discussions with U.S. counterparts to enhance communication, strengthen industry collaboration, and expand trade opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHigh-Quality Shandong, Trade Worldwide\u201d<\/em>\u00a0represents not only a promotional event but also a milestone for the deeper integration of Shandong with the global market.
