LOS ANGELES, CA \u2013 Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath shares\u00a0the following statement in response to the audit released today by Alvarez and\u00a0Marsal (A&M).<\/p>\n
“This audit is another reminder of what we already know — the current homelessness services system is broken.<\/p>\n We cannot accept this dysfunction any longer. No more waste through duplicated resources. No more contracts for services that don\u2019t deliver. We need accountability and results right now, which is why I\u2019m proceeding with the creation of a consolidated County department that will end this nightmare.”<\/em><\/p>\n Supervisor Horvath will introduce a motion next week to create a County department dedicated to homelessness solutions.
