This year, California will provide a total of $2.4 billion in residential credits \u2013 $1.4 billion for electric customers, $1 billion for natural gas customers, and an additional $122 million for small businesses.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">How it works<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The credits range from $35 to $259 for electricity bills \u2013 with most set to receive $56 to $81 \u2013 and approximately $54 to $87 on natural gas bills for residential customers of PG&amp;E, San Diego Gas &amp; Electric, Southern California Gas Company, and Southwest Gas. The California Climate Credit comes from the State\u2019s Cap-and-Trade Program managed by the California Air Resources Board. The credit on utility bills represents the consumer\u2019s share of the payments from the State\u2019s program.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In addition to utility bill credits, California\u2019s Cap-and-Trade program has funded<a href=\"https:\/\/mclist.us7.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=afffa58af0d1d42fee9a20e55&amp;id=c43541057e&amp;e=0a97a8055b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/mclist.us7.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3Dafffa58af0d1d42fee9a20e55%26id%3Dc43541057e%26e%3D0a97a8055b&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1742418374019000&amp;usg=AOvVaw06eMVqqfn0YaQqh24yV3iA\">\u00a0$28 billion in climate investments<\/a>\u00a0delivering more than half a million projects across the state, supporting 30,000 jobs and cutting millions of tons of carbon emissions.
