By showcasing young classical performers like Leyao, we aim to inspire more young people to listen to and appreciate the timeless beauty of this art form.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Leyao Chen\u2019s musical journey began at the age of five with the piano, before transitioning to the cello at age eight under the mentorship of Professor Huang Beixing, principal cellist of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Chen\u2019s talent has been recognized internationally, having performed at the Edinburgh Music Festival in the UK, where she collaborated with renowned cellists Mischa Maisky and Qin Liwei.
