County)<\/em><\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Chair Kathryn Barger is commending the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for their continued commitment and impressive progress in debris removal efforts following the Eaton Fire.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">With more than 1.1 million tons of debris cleared to date\u2014roughly the volume of eight Dodger Stadiums\u2014the work reflects a coordinated and well-executed response to one of the region\u2019s most significant fire recovery missions.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cI wholeheartedly thank the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for their dedication to safely and swiftly clearing debris from our communities,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Supervisor Kathryn Barger<\/strong>. \u201cTheir work is helping restore neighborhoods impacted by the Eaton Fire and creating a pathway for families and the community at large to begin rebuilding and healing. I\u2019m impressed by the scale and speed of their efforts and appreciate our ongoing partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 align=\"left\"><strong>USACE Crews Hard At Work<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\">USACE now has deployed\u00a0<strong>115 debris removal crews<\/strong>\u00a0in the Eaton Fire area, maintaining a steady pace of\u00a0<strong>clearing an average of 65 properties per day<\/strong>. Since the operation began, they have received 5,665 Right of Entry forms from Los Angeles County and have successfully\u00a0<strong>cleared debris from over 4,450 properties<\/strong>, representing approximately 79% of eligible sites.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Final sign-off has been completed and returned to the County for 2,566 of those properties\u2014about 45% of the total.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">USACE continues to work in close coordination with Los Angeles County, holding weekly meetings to align debris removal efforts with road work and utility restoration. County)<\/em><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\"><strong>Debris Removal Reaches Non-Profits, Private Organizations, Parks\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">This week, several private and non-profit properties have been added to the USACE\u2019s cleanup mission, including the\u00a0<strong>Lifeline Church<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Pasadena Temple<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Pasadena Church of Christ<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Pasadena Waldorf School<\/strong>, and T<strong>he Bunny Museum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Work is also underway at key local parks. Cleanup operations are currently\u00a0<strong>in progress at Farnsworth Park<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Eaton County Nature Center<\/strong>.
