Solis issued the following statement:<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><em>\u201cThe formation of Los Angeles County\u2019s Governance Reform Task Force (GRTF) marks a significant milestone in the implementation of Measure G. I am proud of the diverse representation within the Task Force, which is reflective of the many communities throughout Los Angeles County.<\/p>\n<p>The formation of the GRTF further demonstrates how much has been accomplished in the short time since voters approved the ballot measure last November. The effort to ensure a broad range of perspectives\u2014from business, labor unions, local government, unincorporated area representation, and community organizations\u2014reflects Angelenos\u2019 support for an inclusive approach.<\/p>\n<p>It was an honor to appoint Brian Calderon Tabatabai to the Task Force, as he played a pivotal role in the selection of the five at-large members. I\u2019m especially pleased to see the nominations of Nancy Yap, Rosa Soto, and Julia Mockeridge\u2014each of whom will bring an important voice for AAPI communities and unincorporated areas.
