(Dec. 5, 2025)<\/strong> \u2014 Los Angeles County will debut\u00a0<strong>Camino City Terrace<\/strong>, a two-day, family-friendly and the first car-free event of its kind in Los Angeles on December 13 and 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All are invited to experience City Terrace\u2014a neighborhood within unincorporated East Los Angeles\u2014in a new way with\u00a0<strong>hands-on activities, live music, dance, local food and artisanal vendors,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>interactive workshops\u00a0<\/strong>on nearly 2 miles of open streets along City Terrace Avenue and Hazard Avenue. Presented by LA Metro, Camino City Terrace is also made possible thanks to Los Angeles County Chair and First District Supervisor, Hilda L. Solis and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to create an opportunity for people of all ages to explore and celebrate City Terrace through this special car-free event,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Los Angeles County Chair and First District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis<\/strong>, who oversees and represents City Terrace, an unincorporated area of East Los Angeles. \u201cCamino City Terrace offers two days for everyone to walk, run, bike, play, and connect while experiencing the rich culture, artistry, and vibrancy that make this neighborhood so unique.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLos Angeles County Public Works is proud to partner with Metro on Camino City Terrace. With support from Chair Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, this event brings the community together on car-free streets and advances safer travel for everyone. We\u2019re proud to help deliver state-of-the-art transportation infrastructure that is safe, resilient, sustainable, and equitable for Los Angeles County residents,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Los Angeles County Public Works Director Mark Pestrella.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camino City Terrace\u00a0centers\u00a0the dynamic culture, art, architecture, community organizations and businesses of the neighborhood. It will feature three hubs along its 1.6-mile path offering family-friendly activities during the holiday season including:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>Ditman Hub<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nRoll, ride, and learn!\u00a0<strong><em>Walk \u2019n Rollers<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0guides young riders through bike skills, repair, and helmet safety in a safe and playful environment. Kids and families can test their skills at the\u00a0<strong>Bike Skills Rodeo<\/strong>, get quick\u00a0<strong>bike repairs<\/strong>, and learn a new trick while waiting for Walk \u2018n Rollers\u2019 bike helmet giveaway.\u00a0<strong><em>Cafe Zenaida\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>will be serving bites and drinks to keep everyone fueled. Plus, solar-powered DJ Sycons will be spinning tunes on both days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>323 Food &amp; Flea Hub<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shop, snack, and get creative at the 323 Food &amp; Flea Hub curated and produced by\u00a0<strong><em>In The Making<\/em><\/strong>! This hub is bursting with\u00a0<strong>artisanal and handcrafted goods, hands-on art workshops,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>local food vendors<\/strong>. Enjoy the lively energy of\u00a0<strong><em>323 Food &amp; Flea\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0weekly market<\/strong>\u00a0while a\u00a0<strong>stage with music\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>dance<\/strong>\u00a0fills the space with sound and movement.
