The figure of Huo Yue, Chief Correspondent of Beijing Radio &amp; Television Station (BRTV), moved between the Bowers Museum\u2019s special exhibition <em data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"407\">Fantasy Worlds<\/em>, the live studio of KAZN AM1300 Chinese Radio, and the brilliant lights of the Arcadia Chang\u2019an Lantern Festival. This transpacific cultural journey saw her not only documenting the vivid presence of Chinese culture overseas through her camera and pen, but also\u2014through the professionalism of a journalist and the dedication of a film and media practitioner\u2014building a \u201cbridge of connection\u201d for cultural exchange between China and the United States. Her thoughts returned to 2010, when her report <em data-start=\"1468\" data-end=\"1497\">The Call from the Mountains<\/em>, which highlighted the challenges of rural education, was broadcast. That experience allowed her to truly feel the power of content to connect people with society and to spark public awareness. This original aspiration supported her growth from a researcher at the Beijing People\u2019s Radio Research Center into a chief correspondent deeply engaged in public affairs and cultural reporting. Over three years of dedicated work, her professionalism and commitment were evident throughout. In the early stages, she proactively coordinated resources and sought investment and sponsorship to lay a solid foundation for filming. During production, she enthusiastically assisted directors and producers with overall coordination, ensuring efficient progress. In post-production, she drew on her long-accumulated expertise and resources in music and audio recording to lead the creation of the film\u2019s theme song\u2014overseeing lyric writing, music production, recording, and final mixing. From refining melodies and lyrics to studio coordination and final synthesis, she maintained rigorous professional standards at every step, ultimately making the film\u2019s music a key emotional highlight for audiences. Rather than emphasizing cultural differences, the documentary focuses on universal themes of love and growth. \u201cIt\u2019s like the <em data-start=\"4053\" data-end=\"4069\">Fantasy Worlds<\/em> exhibition we saw at the Bowers Museum\u2014<em data-start=\"4109\" data-end=\"4138\">One Thousand and One Nights<\/em> and <em data-start=\"4143\" data-end=\"4178\">The Classic of Mountains and Seas<\/em> come from different civilizations, yet both move audiences through imagination.\u201d At the exhibition, when Professor Matthew Sangster from the University of Glasgow mentioned that he especially liked the museum\u2019s Chinese gallery, Huo keenly sensed a moment of cultural resonance. \u201cChina has so many imaginative cultural IPs like <em data-start=\"4506\" data-end=\"4541\">The Classic of Mountains and Seas<\/em>. These can serve as rich sources for fantasy creation.
