Established in 2008, the Los Angeles Parks Foundation works to preserve and improve parks and recreational areas across the city, ensuring they remain accessible, welcoming, and vibrant for Los Angeles\u2019 diverse communities. Proceeds from the Griffith Park Run help advance this mission by directly contributing to park stewardship and community programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Griffith Park Run welcomes participants of all abilities, from elite runners and competitive racers to casual joggers and walkers. The Half Marathon<\/strong>, starting at 7:30 a.m.<\/strong>, offers a unique course that traverses all the main trails of Griffith Park, guiding runners past well-known landmarks such as the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round<\/strong> and the Autry Museum of the American West<\/strong>.
