His novel \u201cThe Barbarians Are Coming\u201d won the Association for Asian American Studies Prose Award in 2002. He was also awarded a Lannan Writing Fellowship in 2001.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"content\" class=\"loaded\">\n<div class=\"site-full-width page-content-area single loaded\">\n<div class=\"site-outer-max-width m-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"holder\">\n<div class=\"main\">\n<div class=\"margin site-outer-padding\">\n<div class=\"inner\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>Wong Louie received M.F.A.
