The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, in partnership with RTI International, has launched the 2026 Los Angeles County Health Survey and is encouraging invited residents to\u00a0participate.\u00a0The 2026 survey marks the 10th\u00a0cycle of the Los Angeles County Health Survey and will continue through December 2026. The results are used to plan programs that improve the health and wellbeing of all County residents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cThe health survey gives us an opportunity to hear from local residents about health issues affecting their communities,\u201d said\u00a0Barbara Ferrer, PhD, MPH, MEd, Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.\u00a0\u201cThe survey results will help Public Health and our community partners throughout Los Angeles County develop policies and plan programs to improve the health of the 10 million people we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The web and telephone-based survey\u00a0will\u00a0ask about health needs, health conditions, and other related topics that\u00a0impact\u00a0residents, their\u00a0children\u00a0and their communities.\u00a0The survey is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and Vietnamese.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The survey does not ask about citizenship and legal status, and participation in the survey does not affect any household benefits.<\/strong>\u00a0All responses are kept strictly confidential\u00a0and survey information is not shared with any other government agencies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Invitation letters for the survey are being mailed to randomly selected households throughout Los Angeles County. Residents may be invited to complete an adult survey, a child survey, or both.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

To help residents\u00a0identify\u00a0official survey materials,\u00a0an example of the invitation letter can be viewed at Public Health\u2019s Los Angeles County Health Survey\u00a0website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Invited residents who complete the survey will be sent a gift card or check starting at $20.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
