LOS ANGELES, CA\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0\u00a0To help residents and visitors more easily experience the excitement of the World Cup, Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath is expanding the Topanga Beach Bus route with\u00a0one additional stop at the official Venice Beach Fan Zone<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0July 10 and 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The temporary stop at\u00a0Windward Avenue and Main Street<\/strong>\u00a0will provide a convenient transit connection from the San Fernando Valley to one of FIFA\u2019s official Fan Zones while maintaining service for existing Topanga Beach Bus riders. The expanded route was developed in coordination with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works to meet increased World Cup demand, mitigate traffic impacts, support the local economy, and continue providing transit service for beachgoers.<\/p>\n

On July 10 and 11, we’re making it even easier for residents and visitors to experience the excitement of the World Cup by adding a Topanga Beach Bus stop at the Venice Fan Zone,\u201d said\u00a0Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath<\/strong>. \u201cWhether you’re cheering on your favorite team or enjoying a day at the beach, we’re expanding access to the moments that bring people together while making it easier to leave your car behind.”<\/p>\n

The additional stop will be available only on\u00a0Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11<\/strong>, as part of the existing Topanga Beach Bus service:<\/p>\n
