Michael Cohen cancelled his upcoming congressional testimony

President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen is postponing his plan to testify before Congress in February because of concerns about his family’s safety, according to Cohen’s adviser Lanny Davis.

Michael Cohen cancelled his upcoming congressional testimony Wednesday out of concern for his family’s “safety,” alleging President Trump and Rudy Giuliani have threatened him and his relatives “as recently as this weekend.”

“This is a time where Mr. Cohen had to put his family and their safety first,” said Lanny Davis, an attorney for Cohen.
