CONTRERAS SURPASSES $1OOK RAISED IN OC SUPERVISOR BID

Westminster Councilman Sergio Contreras Tops $100,000 Raised in OC Board of Supervisors District 1 Contest

WESTMINSTER, CA — Bolstering his campaign for Orange County Board of Supervisors District 1, Westminster City Councilmember Sergio Contreras announced today that his campaign has raised more than $100,000. Contreras leads the field of candidates in endorsements and fundraising by a wide margin, demonstrating that he has strong, broad-based support and is far and away the strongest candidate to flip the seat.

Upon releasing his fundraising figures, Contreras reflected:

“I’m deeply grateful for the support that our campaign has received from working families, small business owners, environmental advocates, labor activists, neighborhood leaders, veterans and countless people who want change in the First District. These strong numbers show that our message of progress is resonating with people all across our community. I look forward to continuing to learn and listen from community leaders and neighbors to advance new, forward-thinking and pragmatic ideas to improve our neighborhoods. This milestone is the first of many we will achieve as we work to expand our coalition and build a movement across every corner of the First District to deliver the change we need on the Board of Supervisors.”
