Retired Torrance City Councilman Tom Brewer Endorses Frank Scotto for State Assembly

TORRANCE – Retired Torrance City Councilman Tom Brewer endorsed longtime small business owner and former Mayor of Torrance, Frank Scotto in his bid to represent the 66th Assembly District.

When asked about Scotto, Brewer stated, “Californians need a solid business mind to push business-friendly legislation that promotes job creation and economic growth. My experience with Frank as the Mayor of Torrance proved that he is an experienced small business owner with the knowledge and drive to represent the people of the 66th district.”

In addition to growing his successful small business, Frank has served his community in a number of capacities. In 1997, he was appointed as a commissioner on the Torrance Civil Service Commission and was elected to the City Council in 2000. He was later elected as Mayor and reelected before terming out in 2014.

Frank Scotto is the former Mayor of Torrance. He is running for State Assembly in the 66th Assembly District, which encompasses much of the South Bay of Los Angeles.
