ASIAN INDUSTRY B2B CHINESE CULTURAL CELEBRATION

The Asian Industry B2B hosted almost 200 business leaders at our March monthly mixer, a special Chinese Cultural celebration, featuring the Honorable Betty Chu, co-founder of East West Bank and former Mayor of Monterey Park, who spoke on the state of
Chinese businesses and the importance of community and partnerships between Asian groups and the greater society. We also featured Eugene Moy of the Chinese Historical Society, who spoke on his museum downtown as well as a history on Chinese railroad workers.

The event was originally held at Wells Fargo Puente Hills, but due to the high number of RSVPs, had to be moved to the Industry Hills Expo Center. AIB2B’s professionalism ensured everyone got
individually emailed about the location change, ensuring minimal disruption.

Those in attendance included the Mayor of Arcadia, Peter Amundson, former State Senate Minority Leader Bob Huff, former Assemblywoman Young Kim, celebrities William Hung and
Baldwin Chiu (Only Won), as well as leaders of nonprofits such as OC Autism’s Julie Diep.

With a consistent attendance of between 50 and 100 firms and professionals during monthly mixers, including a New Year’s kickoff featuring H Saga International, a multi million logistics company, AIB2B continues to grow fueled mostly by its quality speakers and charitable initiatives, ranging from military, to autism to cures for terminal diseases. Networking at AIB2B’s event gives
members a great opportunity to participate in the local community and advance their businesses.
