Mega Millions winning numbers
The winning numbers drawn Tuesday are 3, 45, 49, 61, 69, and Mega Ball 9.
It’s the largest jackpot in the 16-year history of the lottery game.
If all five of the white balls — numbered 1 to 70 — and the Mega Ball, which ranges from 1 to 25, match then the ticket is a winner.
If you didn’t win, don’t feel too bad. The odds of holding a successful ticket are 1 in 302,575,350. To put that in perspective, just imagine all American residents minus those living in Texas holding a Mega Millions ticket but only one lucky person possessing the perfect numbers.
If you’re camera-shy or just don’t want a few million strangers knowing you’re rolling in dough, you’re out of luck. All winners must publicly acknowledge themselves unless they live in Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio and South Carolina.
If no winning ticket is drawn, the jackpot is expected to roll over to $868 million for Friday’s drawing.
