Torrance bowling alley shooting, Three people killed

A shooting at a bowling alley late Friday left three men dead and four people injured in Southern California, authorities said at 11:54 pm, local time.

The police department later confirmed there are 3 dead and 4 injured following the shooting which reportedly sprung from an argument in the bowling alley. Two of the injured victims were sent to a local hospital; the other two sought out medical care on their own

No arrests were immediately reported after the shooting, which happened shortly before midnight at the Gable House Bowl in Torrance. City police were “working to identify the suspect(s) involved,” they said in a news release.

Witnesses say the shooting stemmed from a fight that broke out among two groups of people.

Torrance, California, is a coastal city about 20 miles (32 kilometers) from Los Angeles. Gable House Bowl is on Hawthorne Boulevard near Sepulveda in Torrance.
